Deep-cultivated power equipment for several years, transmission and distribution products transformation and upgrading, new energy EPC contribution to the growth of new kinetic energy.
The demand for power grid construction continues to be strong, and new energy consumption, distribution network upgrading and transformation, and digital power grid are the key areas of power grid investment. During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, the total power grid investment of the State Grid and China Southern Power Grid was about 3 trillion yuan, of which the distribution network investment was about 2 trillion yuan. Grid investment continues to grow. With the accelerated construction of new power system, energy Internet and digital power grid have become the direction of power grid transformation, intelligent digital upgrading of electrical equipment has become an inevitable trend, new energy consumption, distribution network upgrading and transformation has become the key direction of future power grid investment.
With the construction of Fengguang base, there is a strong demand for large-scale transmission of new energy power, and UHV has become a key area of power grid investment. According to the China Energy News, the 14th and 5th national networks plan to build UHV "24 to 14 straight". In 2023, the UHV DC transmission channel will enter the peak of approved construction. The UHV DC projects in Jinshang-Hubei, Longdong-Shandong, Ningxia-Hunan, Hami-Chongqing, as well as the UHV AC projects in Sichuan and Chongqing, Zhangbei-Shengli and Huangshi have been approved to start one after another, and the construction of UHV AC and DC transmission channels has been accelerated.
As of the end of July 2023, the total amount of the first three batches of power transmission and transformation equipment of the State Grid was 40.3 billion yuan, reaching 80% of the total amount of the six batches in 2022, and the demand for power grid construction continued to be strong.
Risk Warning: Power grid investment and construction is not as expected, power grid bidding and distribution network side channel sinking is not as expected, new energy EPC project promotion is not as expected.
